꙰ “Korea Study Abroad Profile” ꙰

The first step to start studying in Korea is to prepare your application and find a reputable center to process your application before submitting it to a university in Korea.
An accurate and complete profile is the first step for you to be able to get into the schools you want. So, if you have a plan to study in Korea, prepare the following documents.

1. Passport
Popular Passport: Issued to Vietnamese citizens with household registration and identity card, with full citizenship rights. The passport is valid for 10 years from the date of issue, allowing access to all countries.

 

The procedure includes:
• 1 form to be filled out at the passport office.
• 06 white background photos, size 4×6 of passport. Take a 4×6 passport photo (completely different from the 4×6 card size, you should note!). Wash about 8 sheets,

will paste 6 panels on the profile, the remaining 2 sheets … make the crabs.
• Original identity card, still valid. (not more than 10 years from the date of issuance, if overdue or near overdue, go to the district police to renew it).
• Fee: 200,000 VND to be paid when applying for a passport.
Time
– 2 weeks after submitting the application will receive the passport. When you go, bring the original appointment letter and ID card.
– Note that the original passport must be valid for at least 1 year
Profile card photo
Card photo size 3.5 x 4.5 and card photo 4 x 6, taken in white background. (The number of photos will depend on the number of applications you apply and the

requirements of each university.)

 

– For students who have graduated from high school: diploma and high school transcripts are translated into English, notarized by the judiciary, stamp of the

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, purple stamp of the Embassy.
– For students who have graduated from university/college: diploma, university/college transcripts translated into English, public justice, foreign ministry stamp,

embassy purple stamp
– For exchange students or not yet graduated from the university: Confirmation of the school’s student or double-sided photo student card translated into English,

transcripts of semesters studied are translated into English, with legal notarization.
– Certificate of study at the highest school you have ever attended (issued by the school)
You just need to prepare the above documents, the translation, notarization, certification of agencies such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Embassy of the

study abroad center will complete for you.

2. Study plan to study in Korea
Content included:
– First and last name
– Date of birth
– Time to learn Korean
– The reason why study abroad in Korea
The reason for choosing the University (the school you applied for)
– Study plan at school: learn a language or go to university. What major did you study and why did you choose that major?
– Who is the person providing the living expenses? Are you planning to get a part-time job?
– Future plans after completing your studies in Korea
Students must write their own study plans in Korean or English, translations are not accepted.

Self-introduction paper
Content included:
– Personal status: occupation, place of work, previous study history, Korean language level
– Family background: name, age, occupation, workplace of family members
– State your strengths, your forte, social activities, clubs you have participated in

✿✿✿Note: for the Study Plan and Self-Introduction, you should learn Korean 3-6 months in advance to be able to write it yourself. Absolutely do not ask others to

write for you, because that can easily be discovered during the interview process with the school or the Embassy.

3. Curriculum Vitae
The curriculum vitae declaration is translated into English and notarized for students to apply at the Hanoi consulate (for students in Ho Chi Minh City, it is not

necessary to have a resume). Original curriculum vitae: (specify name, age, occupation of parents) with local certification stamp, clearly stating the date of signing.

4. Birth certificate, household registration book, identity card, red book
Birth certificate, household registration book, identity card (parent, student), red book (some schools require it) translated into English, with a notary office.

5. Certificate of occupation and income
Proof of parents’ occupation and monthly income, translated into English, with a notary office.
